I know a few graduates from CAHSU and they seem to have done very well. Most of the students take the exams after graduation and then apply to medical residencies. Also, I have been told that they are forming a medical residency program in Belize that will be associated with the school. I know that the school has progressed more than many of the others at a faster rate and they have a very nice building for their students.
But does anyone know why they have added some many clinical requirements? They now require 88 weeks, when most schools require 72, this puzzles me. They now require 12 weeks of ob/gyn, I just wonder why, maybe a requirement of Belize in order to set up a residency program. Just curious.
