1) A question on the SUSOM application asks for "visa status?" Should I put N/A if I'm a US citizen?
2) Under pre-medical course work, it asks for "years taken" I assume this means how many years of a given subject - not the actual year it was taken.
Sounds pretty straightforward but I'm don't want to take a the slightest chance and make any silly mistakes

I can't remember what i put down for years taken, but for your first question about Visa status, just put N/A.
The thing I like about Saba is that someone is always ready to help you at Gardner. Just email admissions and ask them anything, and they'll get back to you the next day. Trust me, I had a lot of questions.

Regarding the VISA... N/A should work just fine. As for "Year" in the pre-medical coursework page, I think they are asking for the year that you took the course. For example.. Fall 02, Spring 03, Summer 05 etc...
I do agree with Stitches. If you still do not feel comfortable with your application, call the Gardner office.

Saba was really good at deciphering my application. :-)
I have a rather complex background since I took classes in different countries over a rather long period of time. I filled out the application the best I could and expected that they might call or ask for more details. In fact, the figured it all out and I was quickly accepted.
For the visa, I would write either : U.S. Citizen or N/A.
For they "Years Taken", I would write stuff like: Fall '01 etc..
Remember that these guys are smart and the see thousands of these. Don't sweat it, just do your best and it will be fine.
Good Luck with your app.

So true, these guys are amazing. I had a great experience with them. They even got back to me on loan info. I feel kind of bad for bombarding them with so many questions. Is it true that you can't apply for loans until three months before you start?
oh, and thanx to Ferrarijp, i realized that my username was missing a "T". Problem solved. Hey, at least I can spell MD.................M.D. Ha! :D
Is it just me or does it seem like quite a bit of ppl attending Saba are married? I was teasing my girlfriend about how we should get married and have her come to Saba just so we'd fit in, haha.
You know what, it's 11pm and i'm drinking Root Beer, please excuse my ramblings.
I think the most comprehensive way to interpret 'years taken' is to actually write down date and duration you were enrolled in that course:
for example: Introductory biology: Sept' 00. - April' 01.
That way you can specify the year you took it and for how long - 1 semester or a whole yr.
good luck with your application.
