All they did is separate the forums so that each island that has an All Saints campus has its own. So the other forum is for Aruba and this one is for Dominica. I can't say how many students attend Aruba but from everyone I talk to it is a very low number (less than 50). The Dominica campus has about 150 people attending it. This of course doesn't include clinicals - I have no idea what their numbers are.

There's 2 different schools now, "All Saints University of Medicine" in Aruba and "All Saints University SCHOOL of Medicine" in Dominica. At first, they were thought to be the same school with 2 different campuses. However, we have since learned that they are run separately. Therefore, we've created separate forums for each of the 2 schools.

The 2 forums can be found at the following locations:
http://www.valuemd.com/all-saints-university-medicine/
http://www.valuemd.com/all-saints-un...hool-medicine/ (http://www.valuemd.com/all-saints-university-school-medicine/)

Certainly they should have more than 200 students, including the new September semester students, starting on 10th of September this month.

This means they will be having 200 to a little more than 200 by the end of this year. I also know some of their students doing clinical rotations in 4 different states. Not bad for a new school like All Saints.

You can actually talk to their Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. R.M. He is a very good man. He used to be the dean at SABA U. Med Sch. He will answer any questions you will have.

Small world, eh?

Get big brains together, you have an explosive growth, that is what they have done!

Thanks a bunch Dr. H for your update. I actually even underestimated the numbers. I thought they would be slightly above 200. But it's even more than what I thought. I am not surprised though.

This school has started it right and watch it grow exponentially. My prophecy has come true.

Everyone who has met the management of this school will know for certain that they are out to do it RIGHT lets face it. And it is a no nonsense elite. Their purpose is to awaken the best out of every student and they are doing their best and news is going out. Education is a form of "Feedback Mechanism". The institution does its best to provide 'education for life' for its students and in turn the institution gains popularity and fame based on its performance. Other institutions do it over long periods of time and yet others do it in short time. It is a matter of setting standards and reaching for one's goals with passion and integrity regardless of the challenges encountered.

I hope they maintain this vision, passion and commitment to their goals and their students as they have done so far. This is really impressive.

NOTE: Some students whoever, did complain of having way too much work and did not know if other universities are just as challenging. And that they just don't have time for a breather. .......What should they do?

ADVICE:

REMEMBER medicine is tough but doable wherever you go. It is one of the most difficult field of study. Just work harder. Remember, when the going gets tough only the tough get going. Beside, tough things never last, tough people do. Good luck and be proud you are a student at ASUSM. You will thank your school later for challenging you intellectually, trust me.

Best of luck!
