Yeah a ** is equiv if not the same as a BSc. Both BA and ** are bachelors degrees so the answer is no. Obviously what letters you graduate with would depend upon what degree course you take. E.g. you would graduate with a ** in BioChem and a BA in American History.

It depends on the situation. Typically, it does not matter. Medical schools like if you take a major that interests you, and you should excel in whichever major you choose.
I used to be an undergrad advisor and the advice we gave pre-med students was to take the science majors if they really enjoyed them, but to take whichever major they felt they would enjoy most, whether it be biochem or the performing arts. Literature, history, and language are also majors which med schools like to see. Majors outside of the sciences make you unique and more well-rounded in general.
However, don't take a BA just to take the easy way out. And, you're still going to have to do well in all of the pre-med required courses. good luck!
The degree wont matter as long as u get all the prerequisites done and score well on MCAT. I know friends from college who went on to med schools with BA in Psychology, BA in English, B.S. in Bio, etc. The GPA and the science GPA is more important.

Doesn't matter. Get good grades and a good MCAT
