As the hurricane season just started and the first big hurricane just past over Dominica, can anyone tell me if Aruba is in the hurricane belt.

Thanks for the info, the hurricane season just started, and according to the predictions of the experts, the caribbean can expect alot more of these big hurricanes.
This means that the other islands like Dominica who are in the hurricane belt can expect more hurricanes.

Matter of fact Bonaire gets a small amount of rain on the order of less than 20 inches a year. Technically it is a desert island. Some times they do get waves from the storms.

How did Ross U. and All Saints-Dominica survive the hurricane by the way? Does anyone know?
