Hi guys.
Well, I am brazilian and certanly like many of u, wiling to pursue a dream, become MD.
I am a junior student at a brazilian uni, taking my degree on BSc of Biomedical Sciences. Thus taking this degree, it does not fit on the US, Canada or any other country that may offer a 4 year MD program, just because we do not take physics, chemistry and nor english as a pre requisite for med school.
Med school here down south is mainly 6 year program , straight from HS.
So the point is.
Would it be better trying to get a transfer credit from here to US or Canada or my Biomedical Sciences degreee?
So then I could take all the pre requisites for admission and also prepare to sit for the MCAT, and probably improve my GPA.
On the other hand, I was also thinking on the possibility of droping my BSc and go staright to Pre-Med programs, either in Canada or US.
Would it be handy for me to join those programs and then apply for Med School?
What do u think guys?
Thanks already for the help.
