Could someone plz explain that in Obstructive jaundice there's light colored stool and dark urine but why is there dark colored urine?
I guess I'm getting confused cause if there's a stone obstructing then the backup of Conjugated bilirubin (water soluble) will turn the urine dark but why can't that backup make the stool dark too? Stool is light cause there's no CB going to the intestine to get converted to Urobilin .. that I get. But is it not possible for that CB to make the stool dark too?
