Does anybody know of any status updates regarding Krakow or Poznan's application for California approval?
I've heard from someone that California is very close in making a decision in the case of Jagiellonian university...
Can anyone confirm this?

According to the Dean of UJ in regards to California; "We sent all the necessary paperwork in and are now waiting. We don't know when it will be, maybe next week, maybe next month, next year, or a few years. We are waiting."

However, consider this, if schools all over the world are recognized in California, why should UJ not be?!?! The standard of health-care in California and surrounding are not all that much different from the rest of the US if there is any difference.

Careful... in fact, UJ med school is currently recognized... the 6 yr Polish-language program, that is. The 4 yr English program is looking for accreditation now... The issue at stake is that even if, and when, UJ becomes accredited, that accreditation will likely not be retroactive for those who have already graduated. Check and mate.


So what if medicine in Cali is the same as in the rest of the world. That's not the issue. It's simple ** politics.
