Reminder
If you intend to obtain the J-1 Visa for your residency in 2008, remember you have to write the MCC Evaluating Exam before you can obtain the Statement of Need from Canada.
The Medical Council of Canada is accepting registration for the January 2008 session of the examination. The deadline is 13 September 2007. You must also submit your documents to the Physician Credentials Registry of Canada (PCRC) by 17 August 2007.
This time line is important for obtaining the J-1 Visa on time to start the residency on July 1, 2008.
