dont worry you dont need to take any exam for english medium at MMA...
but lately Mr. Saman (the agent at MMA / RSMU) has connived some new ways to make new comers (except the Malaysians on gov. scholarship) take some test that is of course paying.. i dont know if it is true...
DONT settle for 2nd best.. go to PFU... you ll be happier there.. and better treated...

Hi
I am also a korean student who is intending to study in russian med school.
I am a korean born New Zealand citizen and currently studying first yr at univeristy in NZ
I was wondering how you are finding life in Russia and the medical schools u are going to apply for. I have been searching about med schools in russia A LOT and seems to be getting no-where. emails that i send never seems to be replied and i am hearing and reading many negative comments about various aspects of russia and russian med schools some more in particular than others.
I am planning to study next academic yr in russia so until then i ll finish my yr off here in NZ and then hoping to go to russia at the beginning of 2008 and learn russian a bit before i start prep course at a univeristy as i want to study in russian medium.
I ll look forward to hearing form you.:)

Hello Spirit,
By the time you read this, I think you must be in some med school already. :)
I've been to Russia for med education in the year 2005. I lived there for 10 days and left quickly .Med education in Russia didn't impress me much so that I'd spend 7 yrs there and come back unsatisfied. Although, this is totally a personal opinion. For gaining admission to an english medium course, you need to apply through Russian education centres. You can also google "MosLanka" (short for Moscow and SriLanka as the fellow running this agency is a Srilankan.)
There are no tests to be taken for admissions.
Be Careful and do enough research before taking the plunge.
Best of luck.
