I am wondering, if I pass the USMLEs with a decent score, how hard would it be for me, a foreign graduate, to get a residency in internal medicine or pediatrics? thanks

They are actually probably some of the easier options. Residencies in Primary Care fields (the six MS-III rotations) are usually less competetive, and they say that there is a shortage of primary care physicans in the US. You may need to be willing to travel though.... Yale Internal Med is still Yale Internal Med....
