If we all go back and look at the posts by this person(s) you will notice vast difference in spelling and grammar, not to mention syntax. I think the identity is the Mr. and Mrs. behind this school. They have the same tired tactics-to disrespect or slander anyone who posts a contrary opinion. Good luck to all persons trying to get transcripts or refunds.

it's funny b/c billybill is trying to recruit people to the school, it's obvious. but to anyone looking at the posts, it does anything but make you want to go there. even if this person was just a student, but to be the dean of the school, wow!
the school would do better if this person stopped posting.
Look for the next incarnation coming soon...
Especially since he said he now graduated...

I find it very interesting and rather annoying that this Billy Billy can find nothing wrong with an obviously corrupt system. I am sorry that this person has been so caught up in their little world to actually believe that while they may be having the time of their life with this school the rest of us are getting screwed by them. So I hope who ever this person is, can sleep at night knowing they continually support a failed school and a corrupt group of individuals, no matter how nice they are said to be. If they were honest and had a fiber of integrity they would come out and say they have problems and ask for our consideratation and patience. I have seen neither of this and have only been dealt with dodgy responses at best. So Billy Billy, please open your highly superior mind and realize that the world you live in is not so beautiful after all. :(

No. i do not know the number of students at mua-b since i am no longer a student there. i am in preparations of clinical skills asessment and step 2. however i do know the numbers of residents nationwide (U.S.A) who hail from mua-belize!

this is very interesting saying you're preparing for step 2. just a little while ago you started a thread called "I did it!" posting:
I Wanna Extend My Salutations And Greetings To All My Fellow Doctors Who Came To The Graduation! I Couldnt Have Asked For Anything Better! The Location Was Outstanding, It Was An Honor To Hear All The Speakers, And Having It In Massachusets Was Perfect! I'm Glad To Be An Official Mua B Graduate! Thanks For The Staff That Came From Belize, And Thanks To All The People Who Were In Attendence:d:-d:-d Mua Belize Graduation Took Place At A Prestigous University In Massachusets Just A Couple Of Days Ago.
this is weird, all the schools that i know require you to pass the step 2 before graduating. if not, you graduate and you cannot even begin residency. things aren't really adding up.

If Billy Bill's posts that he/she graduated but has not passed CSA & step 2 are true it is a big red flag about the quality of this school and its graduates.
If Billy Bill's posts are not true, then it argues that he/she is an owner or employee of the school.
There are many, many med schools in the world that graduate their students without having them pass step 2. In mua-b case i would think it's up to the belize government.
But billybill's stories never really seem to be quite ... what's the word?

Ok how do you know that MUA-Belize has residency students in US?? Give us the name of the student and which hospital they are in. Once we get in touch with them and varify it with the hospital that they work there and graduated from MUA-Belize, then and only then will we have the correct varification.
There you go, i have given you the method of verification, now lets see what lies you come with now, ********.

I hate to reply to B-B but a few grads do have residencies-it was when the school was first started with a Nevis sponsorship and there were better students. There might be a few intelligent St. Chris transfers who passed boards. Nonetheless, there are a growing number of states who will not recognize MUA-B and the school, after all, did have its loans pulled. When it comes to full licensing, I pity any grad of MUA--Belize.

i do see, there still is a small number of disgruntled expelled students on this board raining on my parade. however i am glad that Yos, can see the light, and come to terms with the truth. however please do not OSTRACIZE OR BELITTLE current students by tagging them in more or less words of not being worthy or stupid, by stating mua belize has seen "better students" it does hurt peoples feelings when you put down people you have never met.

i do not have that type of knowledge, that is why you should contact the school or i'm sure there must be some type of registry independent of the school. bottomline is the students who are doing residency are scattered all over the U.S. meaning mua belize is recognised in multiple states. plus 'NO" there not "all" st.chris students, the attempted merger didn't materialize until around 2006-2007. there is no way someone that fresh out of basic sciences can wrap up everything else and still make time for interviews and such. therefore a majority or all of them are from the san pedro campus. no denying it, mua belize is far more successful than people make it out to be. I LOVE MY ALMA MATER GO MUA BELIZE!

would cashue techinically count as a belize school? because after a short 7 months you are sent over to juarez mexico for the remaining basic science years. please do google juarez, it is infamous for being the no.1 entry point for narcotics trade. no.1 city in mexico for violence. no.1 in mexico for armed robberies, kidnappings (abduction of u.s. citizens bordercrossing/carjackings) and murders. all this can be found on google/wikipedia in regards to juarez. yes, out of approx. 5 medical schools in belize, mua belize is only one of two with practising residents in the good 'ol u.s.a.

If MUA-B is such a wonderful place, put the facts up. And don't say call the school. They don't return phone calls and their web site is useless - it has no list of classes, no list of faculty, no anything. It is all show with no substance.

your a real piece of work, i tell you what, the school claims (which i believe since i know some of the students in residency whom i have regular contact with) to have residents in the u.s.a. hold them to it, just demand proof. e-mail the owners, call the office, leave a message. JadedKnight, I think the points you made are very important. It is very important for future students to do a thorough check from many sources and not just believe what the school officials say to be be true. All Caribbean Medical Schools are there to make money and they twist the truth to get more students. Just remember that before investing time and money. If this school is doing as well as BillyBill wants everyone to believe then why is it so hard for them to update their website.

I Heard The Person Who Was In Charge Of The Website (the Designer/company/whatever/host/server) Dissappeared And They Cannot Find Him Or Her!! Of Course They Need To Update It! Things Like That Happen, Mayber The Company Who Designed It Went Under, And The Company Can Only Access The Webpage To Make Changes, Or The Company Owns The Domain Etc. none Of This Changes The Fact That Mua Belize Has Residents Across The U.s.a., Mua Belize Had A Bunch Of Graduating Classes, And Been In Existence Since 2001 According To The Belize Accredation Ministry. Just Call And Ask/demand Names Of States. Gee, Whats So Hard In Doing That?

Claudia, How Can You "twist" The Truth Of Having Students In Resident Programs In The United States? Just E-mail/call And Ask About What Programs And What States, you Put In All This Energy, But No Output.
So you think the spin of having residents is going to be the current selling point of this mua-b school?
I would think that anyone looking at mua-b management capabilities over the years would have serious concerns. If this school is not around when they need their transcripts and other paperwork for their residency and full licensure, what good is this school?
Management of this school has shown many poor judgements in the past: from the St. Matthews debacle, "sister" school with MUA-N (whereby you still retain the name hoping to ride on mua-n success), St. Chris fiasco, to failing to pay for current students clinical site fees.
Obviously the owners of this school are incompetent and care less for the students and their future.

So, JS/RS oops! I mean Billy - I challenge you to list all FULLY LICENSED grads you have in the states. How many are there? I'm betting real close to zero...And if there are a handfull of your "graduates" in residency, there's going to be a rude awakening when a licensing boards starts going over your school's history, and the applicants dodgy, non acgme rotations etc...
Anyone considering this school, needs to go back to the drawing board. There are plenty of schools out there! Choos one! Just don't choose MUA Belize! You'll lose your money and your time will be wasted...
Consider AUA, MUA-Nevis, St. Matthews, Saba, Ross, SGU or AUC - all of which would all be better choices if you absolutely must stay in the Carib. STAY AWAY FROM MUA BELIZE AND ALL THE OTHER SMALL SCHOOLS THAT CAN'T MANAGE A NEW YORK OR CALIFORNIA APPROVAL.
