I wanted to know if IAU had loans set up or if there was any company that offers loans to IAU students?

As per IAU's website - there are private loans that are available starting in the Fall of 2007. What company and other information/questions about the loans
should be sent directly to the Dallas Office of IAU. Here is the contact information:

As stated before, we are waiting New York's decision on accreditation, which will help open the doors on more loan options.

Until this procedure is completed over the next few months, I believe the school is offering discounted tuition up to half off and payment plans.

i talked to the adminstration office, and they said the loans will only cover your tuition, housing and books you have to be able to cover on your own...hope this helps!

Please check with Dallas office about medloans, which I believe covers tuitions and books but not living expenses.

I looked it up as well and you are correct in that IAU is not on the list; however, this company is able to work out loans under the "terms and agreement" section, should they see fit. As far as loans, in general, MEDLOANs is set up and in place and a possibility for those looking for loans.

Thanks alot for your help. Medloans is currently only in place for the island semesters and will not cover anything but tuition? Will medloans possibly extend this to the clinical semesters also in the next few months or certain time frame?

As of right now, medloans only covers tuition. I believe that they are currently working on having loans available for clinical rotations but they are not in place right now. You should probably contact the Dallas office or medloans for more information.
