A patient 42 yrs old, has diastolic BP 130 mmg Hg. His retina shows haemorrhagic areas with exudate. His kidney has petichial haemorrhage.
What pathologic finding is expected in this patient?
A] Hyaline arteriolosclerosis
B] Hyperplastic arteriolosclerosis
C] Atherosclerosis
D] Monckeberg calcific sclerosis

Diastolic Bp more than 130 mm Hg, retinal changes and kidney involvement indicates that this is a case of malignant hypertension. In malignant hypertension there is Hyperplastic arteriolosclerosis.

The only thing that comes to my mind is Diabetes.
Also the color pink comes to my mind.

Diabetes, but don't forget long standing hypertension with or without diabetes...
