Interesting thread… I understand the island is small and there are probably not a whole lot of options to spend one’s free time, although limited I am sure it is. This might a good thing, as I don’t want to be tempted into too much partying. However, I would like to hit a beach time from time to time, and having a bunch of cute girls around wouldn’t hurt either. Well, let me rephrase, it would be an absolute necessity. I would go stir crazy on an island for 2 years without any “options” if you understand me. So, can anyone give me the scoop on island life? I know its not going to be like St. Matts in Grand Cayman with so many tourist, bars, clubs, and so on. But tell me, with a small student body and lack of significant tourism, what is the island like as far as relaxation time and meeting women?

Start digging former girl friends' phones, e-mails.......I might try it in while I am in the Island.

The beach on Saba is very poor, and is about a 20 mile boat ride away.

school is like everyplace else in life. those who are struggling for friends or dates usually are so for reasons that become clear when you meet them. most people live normal lives.

I did not know that this thread was about friends and dates...Original poster was talking about other things...
Tell the truth, if we are writing here let's say ten posts/weekly... either we are not one of the most people that live normal lives -whatever that is or most people have lives here that absolutly suck!
