I am currently a medical student in Ireland who do not hold an EU passport.
Would like to know what criteria employers actually look for as I would like to continue as an intern and so on after my education in Ireland or the UK.
Some questions:
Is doing research/placements going to help me? Many people in my year are currently doing it. Does it improve my chances??
Are extra curricular activities actually taken into account?
Any other ways to put me ahead of the competition other than making the Dean's List and marrying a European?
