Help Me Guys!!!

hI I HAVE 5-6 WEEKS before my exam date..i would like to ask your help guys esp those who took&passed step 1 already..im in dilemma if i will just read BIOCHEMISTRY/GENETICS via First Aid bcoz im afraid im not be able to finish everything...im done w/ micro/para&behav science, half of patho,half of physio&half of pharma...so i still need to finish half of patho,physio&pharma in 5-6 weeks...and i plan to do UW too on the span of 5-6 weeks...do i have that time to do UW& finish biochem/genetics?w/c book is better kaplan or rapid review by Pelly/goljan for Biochemistry?...need your honest replies....THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

Only 5-6 weeks left and you've only done half of the bigger subjects? How much time did you already spend and can you delay?

Around 5-6 weeks were spent the above said subjects&kaplan q bank&Q book..im on full time work at the same time..i have no time to postponed this test..Got 330 score for NBME form 2 four weeks ago...

With 5-6 weeks left and a 330 on your NBME I would highly reccomend you postpone your date.

In the last three weeks all you should be doing is reviewing. You seem to have quite a lot left to cover with the big major subjects. I don't see how you can cover all that material, plus do UW questions, plus do all HY reviews of your notes - all in 5-6 weeks.

I haven't written the exam yet but I know for a fact that this exam is not like your medical school exams where you can cram your way to a passing mark.

And even IF you can do all that in 5-6 weeks and retain all the knowledge, do you want to just pass? or do you want to do well?

I know in your post you said you cannot delay your exam - but in my honest opinion you are quite behind for having your step one in 5 weeks.
