I can't seem to remember anything related to microbio or antibiotics. I spent days studying it and it is still my weakest subject on Qbank. I take the test in 2 weeks nad have one week for review. Any suggestions for how to get the information into my head or good books to use? (Have made ridiculousl simple and I guess it didn't work for me)

1- use FA=First Aid
2- first try to remember the name of each bacteria and try to clasifify them.
FA has 2 pages in which they do it nicelly, in one you have the Gram +, learn the names of all of the bacteria you see in that page and their characteristics like catalase+ or bacitracin sensitive.
3- When you have done #2 then go over the part in FA that talks about each one.
4- When you finish with #3 repeat #2 but instead of gram + do gram -
About the antibiotics, divided them by where they work, if they work on the cell membrane or not, if the work with proteins or not ect.
Then learn the MOA=mechanism of action and side effects.
I think kaplan has a page in wich they do a really good review for antibiotics but FA is good, also learn wich drug is the DOC=drug of choice.
If you need more help dont hesitate to ask.
GOD bless and good luck
