Does the USMLE Formula Still work?

I read awhile back on here that the formula to estimate what you would get on the actual exam was

2.3 (ur cum average in usmleworld) + 84 = your score.

Does this still work? And is this for Step 1 or Step 2?

Currently I am studying for step 1, and I am getting an average between 50-55% correct. Still have 3 more weeks before my exam, but am getting worried.

Is there anyone who has passed recently who this formula worked for? Thanks in advance.

if those are unused/mix/all/time then you are doing very good.
2xUW+84 is what I have heard.
but the best thing to do is to take an NBME exam to see where you really are.

preetin: What formula did you use? Did u use 2, 2.3 or 2.39? I have heard a bunch of standard's to use, not sure which is acurate.
