Has the oasis trick ever been known to be inaccurate? i.e. have there ever been cases where it let you re-register after your score was shown reported making you think you failed, but in actuality when it came in the mail, someone passed???

If you score has been reported and you can re-register, then it is a 99.9% chance you failed.

There are of course stories of where Oasis was wrong, but those are just stories, I've not heard first hand accounts of this. Best to wait for your score.

btw, Oasis will always let you re-register. The question is did you see any red letters in the first few steps?

Lets hope for the best outcome, but unfortunally if you select step1 and press enter or continue and you DONOT see any red letters, is a bad sign.

If you are still in your testing period that is the only time I heard that it let the person register, and the paper said PASS.

Well, I have a friend who indeed was able to apply yet he scored a 96. He was sooo worried, he then called NBME and they told him that they actually disabled that trick, since they were getting so many false applications.

If that’s the case then it would make more sense that they actually made the trick work.

This is my 2,000 post o wao, another milestone.
