One of my friends is up from Cornell, and I was talking to him about canadians and american medschools. Basically he told me that american medschools don't like accepting a lot of canadians because we are treated as foreign grads, meaning that there are only a certain number of allocated seats to compete for. Ive been under the impression that it is not anywhere near as hard to get into an american in comparison to a canadian medschool. I don't mean a top 50 medschool, but maybe something not as well known and at the same time better than the caribbean schools.
