TSBME website says "You are advised to review the list of schools whose graduates do not have to prove substantial equivalence of their education. If your school is not on this list you will be required to submit several additional items for review." Does anyone know which are the additional items required for licensing if your med school is not on the list?!

Also, anyone aware of ways to speed up the licensing process?

Thank you and good luck!!

Hello,
The terms they use are vague. Most likely you will have to provide
different types of infor. and documentation about your school.
Texas needs doctors but makes licensing unreasonably difficult.
Applications are now online; the answer they give for licensing
is around 8 months. But if you have to provide additional
documents/paperwork then expect that time to increase.
