Hello to all, I have been a student in the IAU PRE MED program at Texas A&M COMMERCE for 2 years now. I can say that it has truely been a good experience in regards to teaching, the pre med structure of classes and any extra help needed by the students. If anyone has any specific questions in regards to the Pre Med years at Texas A&M Commerce, feel free to post here!

If you have all 90 required hours that you can transfer from USF then you should transfer these and apply to the 4 year MD program with IAU. How many required hours do you have completed from the list thats posted on the IAU website?

Wild---Personally it depends on what you want to do. I would say get a degree from UF then apply to IAU that way you don't have to do during your undergraduate there and can come straight to St. Lucia to start medical school. However the Texas AM program is a good one, but like premed said it depends on if you have you 90 hours done or not.
Something to think about for future reference is that certain states require that you have a minimum of 90 hours (other require a bachelors degree from a University) before they will allow you to be licensed in certain states coming from Carribean Schools. I know NY for example requires 90 hours.

---I'm currently a second year student at IAU w/ a bachelors degree and I also did one year at Texas Am. Any question feel free to contact me at raveen.shenoi@gmail.com-----
