can anyone please kindly explain the mechanism behind ANTACIDS causing hyopokalemia?

It says that all ANTACIDS can cause hypokalemia, dont quite get why cant find it any books either!

It might be Im not sure related to the K- H pump inhibitors

hmmm I did some more reading and this is what i figured, all antacids cause METABOLIC ALKALOSIS, this with that, K+ moves into the cell, causing HYPOKALEMIA.

any one else know a better reason or mech?
