I know the semester starts on may 3rd for orientation, when does the semester end? And is there anyone from nj going at that time? And also how much luggage are we allowed to take?

Finals are currently scheduled for August 12 (give or take a day).

Winair's limit on luggage is about 44 lbs. with extra stuff costing about US $1.25 per pound. The Edge lets you bring more than that, but I'm not sure how much. Anybody out there know?

The edge is the speed boat company that takes you from st. maartin to SABA.

If you had something like a motorbike / car would The Edge transport that for you?

I believe that you cannot transport a car on the Edge ferry, possibly not even a motorcycle. You can find out more information about the Edge ferry at http://www.sabatourism.com This is a good website with lots of information about the island of Saba.

I recall being told in another post that there's no weight limit for the Edge. Correct me if i'm wrong. Of course you can't bring ridiculously large objects such as pickup trucks :)

I recall hearing that too Stiches, but I am not sure if that is 100% correct. I guess the only way to check it out is by visiting the website.

The Edge is a pedestrian ferry that runs between Saba and SXM. No vehicles are transported on it. I think they may have an "official" luggage limit, but I've never seen them weigh anyone's baggage or anything like that.

Vehicles are shipped from SXM via another boat. Check out the website for particulars on cost and schedule.
