I need essential basic books of medicine, could you help me?

From now to the time at the first year in english medium at PFU, I want to read some essential basic books of medicine to follow and understand the lectures better and easier. Can you introduce to me some books and where i can buy them?

The first year at PFU in the english medium will mainly deal the basic studies (math, physics, chemistry, Russian etc..). the only medical subject you ll have will be Anatomy..
and about where you could find those books.. well in your local bookstore...

you ll have the whole curriculum for the 6 years..
dont ask me to tell you to tell you what was taught for each year..

as for food.. there is a canteen at the main building..but practically all foreign students cook in their dorms.. there is a kitchen on
every floor... on campus you ll find a few restaurants..and some street kiosks where you could catch a quick sandwich...
at a 5-minute walking distance from the University, you ll find a few supermarkets.. (named ' MERCADO', ' RAMSTORE') you ll find all that you need there.. now if you are on a limited budget.. you can go to an outside-market called 'Tyopli stan'... youll find all the veggies, fruits and meat for really cheap! it is about 10 minutes by car from campus.. you can catch a taxi.on campus...it ll cost you about 50 Rubles.. that is about $1.5

as for books ..if you are in the english medium buy them home....cuz they are a little expensive in moscow and hard to find..
i have bought quite a large collection of great books over the years... and have scanned them and put them on a CD..but it wont be free..hope you ll understand..

You have such a great CD! What is the cost of your CD and how can i buy it? Could you post the list of books on your CD? I just wonder that how many percent of the scanned books on your CD I can use because maybe many of them are out of date.
Please tell me the names of books i should buy now beside your CD?.

Could you give me some informations about:
the place i will live, how i will have to bribe people, hospital...etc in PFU?

My books are not out of date at all.....
as for PFU... your agent (if you are in the english medium) should provide you with the books.. but.. he probably wont..you need to make sure that he will provide you with all the books.. if not.. then dont pay him your due..

as for my list of books.. i ll make you a list.. so that it will be enough for the 1st 2 years..

as for bribes in moscow.. i think you dont need to worry about it yet.. you ll learn it as you get there..

Here is the st.petersburg state curriculum. I think the curicullum in Russia is centrally controlled so it should be pretty much the same in PFU.
