to be the best.
Cahsu looks fine but it is in Belize city and I will not listen to advice t the contrary: Belize City is dangerous!
AGU ? Are they actually pen, I have e-mailed them 3 times but have not received an answer.
MUA B looks good: I do have some question which I would appreciate students answering:
1) How many students total (In basic sciences)
2) Cost of an apartment (Decent one and cost of utilities)
3) Nightlife?

the school is located 13 miles north of belize city. the living area is 12 miles north of belize city. you only go into the city when you want to get groceries, buy stuff, etc. but you don't spend a whole lot of time there.
and for the "what it's worth" dept, my wife and i have walked around certain parts of belize city, at night, and we weren't robbed, stabbed, beaten, murdered, etc. among the students i was with, i never heard of any incidents in the city. things do happen, but it's usually locals having their own squabbles.

That makes sense. When you hear about dangers, that means the city as a whole. Obviously there are bad areas and good areas. I wonder what would happen if the foreign press starting slamming NYC like the US press slams some of these central and south american countries.

the fact is,what it boils down to in belize, san pedro is the only place where you can feel safe walking the beach at night, or going out for a meal or a drink, can't be said for the mainland.
