Getting in to Israeli medical schools

Hi. I would like to know if its easier to get into an Israeli medical school than it is to get into a US medical school. Does anyone know?
Also, if I go to medical school in Israel what are the chances of getting a good residency in the US?

It is generally easier to get into an American Program Israel MD school than a US MD med school (but there are exceptions). It depends on what type of student you in regards to what type of US residency you will get.

There are great residencies available, if you are a good student. A lot of people come to Israel because they did not get accepted to the US, but the programs are getting fairly competitive.

i am at a carrb school, my friend in the US, went for an interview today in NYC for sack university, his interviewer was cool but was concerned about his mcat score(24), i have many friends who are kicking my ..... in med school and they have lower then that, mine was a 29, but mcat is not med school, diff types of skills

MCAT is good for getting in- has nothing to do with med school! Most people forget that they even took the MCAT after first year. Some comittee somewhere decided once that it can correlate with board scores later. I never saw a research paper done on the subject.
Anyway, it's just something you have to do and get it over with but of course you want to do it well!!! The ultimate currency in this field at the end of the day BOARDS (or at least- so I have been told)
That's what gets residency- more then school's name but that also varies according to different parts of the country. In NY we're good in Idaho not so good!
