interview status email...

Does everyone get this email, or does it only go out to those that they're considering for an interview?

...says that my file was sent for further review to admissions directors at interview centers.

it might be to let u know that ur file is complete. did u already get one that said ur file is complete?

I called the toll free number a few times during the last couple of weeks, and was told that my file was complete but they just haven't gotten to it yet.

then this morning i received the email telling me to wait 3 days then call either my regional office or the miami office to check to see if If I qualify for an interview.

just curious....were you invited to interview after this?

I received that email too when I applied...I called the number three days later and my interviewer gave me an interview.

The problem is I haven't taken the MCAT yet, I just gave them the date I registered for the MCAT. I guess I have to wait until the scores release.

scan and email/fax them proof of registration or if u want to wait u can take the mcat and scan and email/fax them the completion certificate and they will interview u before the scores come out. thats what they did with me

I got the email 2 days ago and called today because I'm going out of town tomorrow....The contact I spoke to told me I was eligible and we set up an interview date and time right away. Hope that helps.

Were you accepted before the MCAT score release? I'm curious because I will not take the MCAT until June 15. I reather not waste my time applying for this Fall if the class will be full by the time the scores are released.

Apply for September and have everything in before you take your MCATs. IF the class is full and they want to accept you, you will automatically be accepted into the Jan '08 class.

I figured as much. Hoping someone has been in a similar situation and could input as to how late the Fall class fills up and how many they accept on a typical case.

If I am too late for Fall, then I would not spend the time and money taking the MCAT next month and applying. I would take my time and sit for the exam in Aug. while applying to other schools. If not accepted for the Fall, then I would likely attend elsewhere in the Spring.
