Dude, ever booked a hotel room before? Just try orbitz or something.

All I can tell you is that the one night i got stuck in SJU, it was pretty expensive for a hotel.

Unless your flight arrives really late, I dont believe you can stay in the airport...

But I always overnighted in San Juan (had to). It was either there or Miami, and well San Juan is much closer to Dominica. Rates for San Juan...are going to pretty expensive in general. I always stayed at the Airport Hotel...right next to the AA ticket counters, but I think its around 150/nite. When i was searchin I did find one or two hotels that are less than 100 (Comfort Inn and some local hotels)...but those are like 5 miles away from the airport.

Once when I went to Dominica I overnighted at Puerto Rico Hotels: Wyndham Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino | puertorico-guide.info (http://puertorico-guide.info/accommodations/a.to.z.hotels/wyndham.condado.plaza.hotel.and.casino/)
It eas a $350 suite, and I bid and got it for $83 at Priceline.com

San Juan hotels: You can stay at the airport overnight. i used a sleeping bag. i saw a couple who used an inflated mattress. If Best Western in the airport is full, you can ask them for a list of other hotels. They have at least ten that are within 10 minute driving from the airport. The first one that I dialed was $99. The taxi fee to the first ten or so should be no more than $10 plus $1 for each bag/suitcase. (I do not have the list anymore). The nice thing is American Eangles allows you to check in as early as 0600 a.m. even though your flight is at 1245 p.m. I know the restriction is 70 lbs; however, I had about 90 lbs total. I did not have to pay anything extra. In fact, one of the suitcase was 1.4 lbs over 50 lb limit. (This is only my experience, not a general rule). :D

stay at the hotel in the airport becasue they have a casino so you can win your money back or lose even more.

I just came back two days ago and I passed out at San juan's mcdonald's! It's open 24 hours and they have one of those comfy sofa-like chairs. You can go to the end, at the corner and just pass out there. Take out your ear plugs and sleep. They have loud music playing but it's sleep-able.

The cleaner who worked there actually suggested me to go to the corner since it has more space and you can lie down. But crashing at airport would require thick sweater or....a blanket. It gets cold at night.

There is a Best Western right outside of the airport. I don't know how much it costs.

But if you're cheap and adventurous (like me) and need more tips... feel free to PM lol :)

LOLLLL breakfast starts at 3 am!

or..if u're sick of mcdonalds by then (from eating too much fries throughout the night), you can opt for subway (but then you'll be sick of this from eating it too much while at ross)........
