do we get diploma mailed to us even if we are attending the graduation? i thought we just get it at graduation?

You can ask that your diploma be mailed to you but otherwise you get it right after graduation. Of course, during the actual ceremony you just get a fake folder so the real one doesn't get bent in your excitement. You also get color 8.5"x11" copies for any license application you need to fill out. The diploma is really beautifully done. Congrats!

so at the graduation ceremony what do you actually get? do you receive the diploma with your name on it or just a fake paper and they send it to you after the ceremony?

Its not that great. The older diplomas looked better than the current ones...the older ones were actually framed in a really nice Ross frame and sent to you. Nowadays, they send you the diploma in a bendable FedEx envelope and the color copies are horrible as the margins aren't even adjusted correctly and they fall out of the margins. What kind of medical school would allow for this? ROSS

Guest, as I said before, you get a blank folder when you walk across the stage. You get your REAL diploma right after the ceremony (in person) unless you request that it is mailed to you.

I'm curious as to what they look like. I hope I'm not disappointed. I guess I'll have to wait until my graduation date of 5/31 to get my diploma sent out and to me. :(

The Diploma is very nice....like any MD Diploma from a US school (yes i have seen both now).

Be prepared to expect an extra-large envelope in the mail.....u will know what I mean when u get it..

mine still sits here beside my desk, 2 years later....in the original express/priority mail envelope....

i really should get it framed.....:confused:
