Yes it is a HEPA certified filter.
And yes, some people's allergies got better in Nevis, and some people's got worse.
Particularly if you're dealing with mold infested a/c's and rooms.

It still has a 2 year manufacture warranty, although I guess that's pretty much useless down here!
