I've tried looking and vaguely remember someone saying that you get Kaplan materials first semester-- Is this true and if so what kind of materials?
Apparently there are basketball courts near RH. So I will be bring my basketball. Should I bring my football, cones, and flags-- is there a place to play and interest?
How much roughly is the first semester refund after all the 1st semester subtractions? if you maxed on your loan availability through healthxpress.
Is there laundry facilities at RH?
Where is the best place(bar/club) to hook up with tourists when I get there on Saturday? semiserious question, btw. :)

A few weeks into the semester before the 1st test you get several kaplan books. Some of the books are subject based (the subjects that are going to be on USMLE ) and a Qbank book.
In regards to the basketball court I have no idea where that is. I do know that they is football league where a group of guys play. And there is also soccer on Saturdays for anyone that wants to play.
For first semester (last semester) was 10,604. So just subtract whatever you took out from your loan and that is what you have left.
There is a laundry room with 5 or 6 washers and 5 or 6 dryers. It cost a 3.50 CI to do a load (1.75CI each machine).

Yeah, we played in a flag football league on Cayman sponsored by Coconut Joe's. It was pretty intense competition. When I say that I am REALLY serious. We had at least one injury per game inclusive of: eyelid/brow laceration that required sutures; bridge of nose laceration that required sutures; deviated septum; multiple shoulder injuries; multiple ankle injuries (with one metatarsal fracture I believe); fractured thumb with a loose body in the PIP; fractured DIP in ring finger; etc.
It was fun though, and everyone kept playing despite injuries! YESS!!
I also played in the Cayman basketball league. The courts are RIGHT by the Res Hall across from Kirk's grocery store on Eastern. There is also a gym at the community college, but that's a good 15-20 minute drive, and it costs money to play.

I'd go to Coconut Joe's, which is right by the Res Hall. If you feel like taking a bus or cab, go to Calico Jack's on the public beach. I love that place! OBar may be decent very LATE Saturday night, but I'm anti-cover charges and they used to charge $10 for the fellas.
