Transport Costs to Pick up Packages.

Anyone that has used Amerijet or had to pay someone to pick up their packages from MELVILLE AIRPORT, for any random weight, say 80+ Pounds, what is a reasonable price for the transport costs alone?

i used Alexis's taxi service to pick up all my AmeriJet stuff when i was on the island. They charge 55 EC for the pick up trip. There will be a duty tax too, they will pay for it on your behalf and then you will get a receipt and pay Alexis taxi all together.

Let me put it to you this way, this is prbly the easiest way to get your package, not the cheapest way. Don't try to take the ride yourself and puke on your way to and from the airport.

Enjoy your package, and don;t sweat the little crap in life.

finish the 4 semsters on time and get the hell out, don;t worry if you spent a few dollars extra, it's not going to kill you.

oh Alexis taxi service is that hut/house across from the school's front entrance, they will also take your packge to your apt for no extra fee from their office

If Alexis only charges $55EC then thats pretty good. We were charged $100EC.

"Rosie" (like the flower not Ross) would charge 20 ec per person. He would be picking up for multiple students, not just one. Never had a customs charge when he handled the p/u.

does rosie pick up barrels? my friend told me rosie doesn't do barrels...alexis does.

His name is actually spelt with two oo's, Roosie, and yes he does EVERYTHING! He is one of the nicest guys on this island and he has done everythigng from help us move, to barrels, to airport transports! He will do practically anything you need if you get in good with him. He really likes us students. He also knows we post about him on this website and he's flattered! Hand's down he's the man!

oh ok i didn't know that. that's weird...i guess my friend must've meant someone else. thanks for clearing it up. i've heard roosie's name from others as well but again, didn't know he did barrels
