Biology: A one-year general biology with a laboratory component is required. Students wishing to pursue additional course work in the biological sciences should consider genetics, embryology, cell biology, or comparative anatomy.

Chemistry: One year of inorganic and one year of organic chemistry each with a lab are required. Students interested in advanced courses are advised to consider biochemistry or physical chemistry.

Physics: A one year course in general physics with a lab is required.

English: At least one year of college level English literature or composition is required. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the three domains of the English language which include reading, writing, and oral communications skills for a number of reasons.

Calculus: At list one year, introductory-level course in calculus is strongly advised.

Sociology/Psychology: Applicants will find that the study of sociology and psychology provides important perspectives on human behavior, the interface between medicine and society, and an understanding of individuals as part of communities and populations.

Statistics: There has been a rapid growth in clinical and epidemiological research fueled by the need to identify and promote cost-effective, evidenced-based medical care. Students will find an understanding of statistical methods and terminology essential in critically analyzing these studies and constructively applying the findings to the study and practice of medicine.

Computer Literacy: In order to optimally use and learn from the technological advances in medical documentation and information systems, applicants must have a working knowledge of desk top systems, common software packages (word processing, spreadsheets and data bases), and educational informatics.

I have no idea what school those are requirements for, but Saba's are listed on the web site at SABA University - www.saba.edu - international medical university college (http://saba.edu/admissions_requirements.php)

Math is not required. It's not even particularly helpful in medical school except perhaps an intro stats course. The few equations are very basic, plug and chug.

goody - I highly suggest you aim a little higher than the caribbean. Most people here busted their *** to try and get into medical school and come here as their "chance."
