Hotel on St. Maarten

Do you guys know of any affortable hotel close to where the EDGE boat leaves to Saba? I'm planning to stay overnight in St. Maarten and the hotel's I found so far are really more resort hotels and very $$$. Anyways, has anyone done this before? Please PM me. Thanks

You should take a look at page 50 in the Student handbook that came in our acceptance package. It has some hotels listed in St. Maarten, as well as phone numbers.

Try Carl's Unique Inn. It's not too far from the Edge and they quoted the lowest rate I've found during the High Season (about US$85 per night). I think they are listed in the handbook, but if not, drop me a line and I'll give you the number.
