Are students required by immigration to have round trip airfare? If so how much are students paying for their tickets? If not how much are students paying for one way tickets?

Yes they are until they get their visa. Price of ticket varies on where you travel from......... duh..... and btw 2 way is a lot cheaper than 2 one ways..........
