i was wondering if you can get rejected for admission into premed. i did very bad in my first year in uni with a low gpa. but i had a reason for that, which i will state when i send my application. after my first year my gpa has improved, i should also have good LORs and i have 100 hours of volunteering at hospital

many people apply, some get rejected some get accepted. it really depends on the individual and their qualifications and their application and interview...

How can someone get rejected if they have met the 60 credit hour requirement?

Your best bet is to finish your degree in the states and then apply. Only use the premed to get you in if you have been out of school for a long time, or already have a degree and did really bad in undergrad. Show that your seroius now by taking more sciences and honoring them, and you will have your choice of Carib schools, possibly even a low tier US school.

yeah, I personally graduated years ago, in a nonscience major (anthropology). That's why I plan on doing the premed. Though that said, $50 is a night at a restaraunt or bar, why not take the chance?
