I'll be taking the entrance exam for Charles First Faculty in the coming months. Any recommendations on what to study?

Thanks!

i suggest u go through the sample questions coz the questions in the exm are modelled in a similar way bt in general (if ur american) you should be good at college level phys, chem, and bio....or if in high school then either the AP/IB program should do....secondly check out some study guides from spark notes, cliff notes n stuff like that....really helps:p

good luck!!!

Sample questions are the way forward. Do them, and then do them again before you sit it. When I did it two or three of the questions were exactly the same.

A lot of the chemistry and biology terminology was legacy stuff - they still seem to use the old nomenlacture for a lot of things, so I either sat there and struggled my way through or just worked by elimination (of course when you don't know what any of the 4 options are, elimination doesn't get you anywhere).

Don't worry about time. They give you 2h30 to do what should take you about 1h15.

drhedberg...i think that the exam will be fine...but what do you mean when you say that you'll be takin the exam in the coming months? for this yr, the exams are done for all faculties...

the exam is really not bad...but dont underestimate it either as the competitions getttin worse by the day since there are many foreigners (majority from UK and Scandinavian countries) applying...just take the exam early and brush up on all the basic college sciences and you'll be fine...

Actually if you look at the time he posted, it was in February. So saying in a few months, he meant a month or so ago, that's all.
