spirit airlines is starting service to sxm from ft lauderdale starting apr 20th. i did a test booking on spiritair.com to pretend that i was going from apr 20th to the 27th to see how much prices are.
the outbound flight was $61 BUCKS!!!!!!! the returning flight was @174 bucks. total roundtrip was $335 after taxes. THESE ARE GREAT PRICES....... i used to have to pay $600 and change for tickets back in my day.
also i heard of jet blue rumors... although nothing is listed yet on their website.
discounters have finally hit sxm.
