A 37 yo immigrant comes into your office with a dirty puncture wound in his leg which he got 4 days ago. You don't get much more medical history. Concerning tetanus, what would you do next in this patient?

a. Give Tetanus immune globulin (human) immediately
b. Give Tetanus immune globulin (human) at one body site & tetanus toxoid at a different body site.
c. Give Tetanus toxoid immediately
d. Give mixture of Tetanus immune globulin & Tetanus toxoid inoculated into one body site

Remember that the Tetanus immune globulin, is our defense agaisnt the infectious agent in this case Clostridium Tetani, right away at the spot.

But the toxoid your body will make your body create the antybodies.

So what is the name of this type of inmunities?
