Does anybody think being not jewish is a disadvantage when applying to sackler, seeing that 90% of people in tel aviv are jewish?
Also, i heard people saying that sackler is tightening the screws a bit this year regarding admissions, since their incoming class last year was very large. can anyone confirm this? Would i be competetive with a post-bac gpa of 3.3, 30 mcat score?
I heard of people getting in at the last minute in June/july in previous years. Is this a common occurence at sackler?

It is not a disadvantage since sackler is a secular school. In fact, some religious students in my class find sackler to be too secular, such as scheduling exams without regard to Jewish holidays.
Sackler does have its largest class ever this year (I'm in it). I think this is mainly because they thought more students would drop when the Lebanon War broke out and they overaccepted. In actuality, I think only two students deferred to next year. From what I heard, whether it's true or not, is that Sackler wants to maintain a larger American Program class size.
Your stats sound fine. I have heard of people rejected with higher stats and accepted with lower stats.
I think it is common occurence for people to hear as late as June/July. You have to understand, that a good proportion of the students who go to Sackler are capable of getting accepted to US MD schools and therefore may get off of wait-lists in the summer months or opt to go to a US MD school they were accepted to rather than Sackler. Although I was accepted in the spring, I didn't truly decide until the end of July/beg. of August.

ijcMD's input about Sackler also holds true for the Technion American program where I am a non-Jewish first-year student. Our program has a broad spectrum of religious/ethnic backgrounds (Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Caucasian, Indian, etc.) I had a very positive experience during my applications/interviews at Technion, Ben Gurion and Sackler. My impression is that all three of the American medical school programs in Israel are very embracing of diversity and would consider your application without bias.
Best of luck with your application!

I know of a few muslim grads in the sackler program. Sackler really tries to distance itself from being an ISRAELI school and they try to be as american as possible.

The Israeli medical schools are exceptional. If you have a chance to get in, then go for it! I spoke with them, then decided not to pursue it which was a real mistake on my part. You'll get a world class education there, it has a large and diverse student population, it is safe there (despite the preconceptions otherwise),everyone speaks english and it won't feel that "foreign". Good Luck.
