This is one of the worst schools in the caribbean. It is a SCAM. Billybill is without a doubt a school representative if not the dean her/him self ( yes it a ***** that run the school).
They both are as ***** as they come. St Chris admin had nothing on them if anyone or they should portray themselves as having taken advantage of.
I DARE ANYONE TO COME AND SAY ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS SORRY EXCUSE FOR A SCHOOL. I DARE R.S or J.S to take me to court for what i know or utter that anything is untrue.
1) Did your right hand R.S not leave the school to teach at another new school that just opend this past september.
2) Did you always promise 80+ students when you were lucky to even keep the 5-10 students you had in ALL of basic sciences.
3) Did you not fail to pay your faculty in months.
4) Did you not purposely keep documents and students tution money.
5) Why does the school take all the money from student loans and not pay the students there share.
6) Were not the doors locked b/c you failed to pay rent for the building.
7) Oh and yes, is it NOT true that the building is rented which you yourself in past posts have said you owned. ( i do have a copy of that meeting you so wanted students to tape where you confessed it was indeed rented yet i know i read a post where you said it was owned).
ALL LIES

There are alot of schools that should not exist and this is one of them. Its a shame that it continues to operate BUT one has to wonder how a school that has no more then 5-10 students in all of basics can still remain open.... i guess there is always other ways to make money as long as it looks clean is that not right R.S and J.S ;)
P.S : THERE IS NO PRE-MED, IT WOULD BE A GOOD DAY IF SHE CAN TEACH AT LEAST 2 CLASSES IN ONE DAY. THERE IS NO PRE-MED THEY DID HAVE A HIGHSCHOOL THERE AT ONE POINT, a woman rented one of the rooms to hold a highschool, BUT I THINK THAT LADY LEFT WHEN SHE WAS PROMISED ALL THESE THINGS by R.S and J.S ANd NO ONE EVER DELIVERED ON THOSE PROMISES.

Hi everyone!! F.Y.I, STUDYHARD was EXPELLED from the university for extremely poor academic performance, so studyhard has a personal vendetta against the school, wow, there's over 100's of mua belize students passing through mua belize for the past 6 years or so, and studyhard was one of the unfortunate ones who "PARTIEDHARD" instead of studyhard, so now studyhard trys to flatterthemselves with this baseless rhetoric. P.S. ONCE AGAIN I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH MUA BELIZE, ONLY A CLINICAL STUDENT, STUDYHARD WAS THE LAUGHING STOCK OF SCHOOL SO STUDYHARD IS VERY ANGRY, PLEASE STUDYHARD GROW UP, YOU HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELF FOR FAILING OUT NUMEROUS TIMES.ALL STUDENTS TRIED TO HELP YOU, BUT YOUR PRIORITIES WERE MISPLACED AND FAILING OUT MY FRIEND, IS A CONSEQUENCE.

Once again, BillyBill goes with the personal attacks. Please tell me why a "clinical student" would be so concerned with postings on this site. Why is Billy not spending all this time in the library studying, networking with the docs to improve his/her chances of getting a good residency, or hanging out with the other students? Go figure.

Your right billybill i partied with the locals and got drunk every day, i failed and ALL the students tried to help me but i would not listen and you were the best out of them all ( makes you happy)
Just to let anyone reading this goes- i could care less if you attend and if you do not- b/c when you get there it does not take long to see what is going on, hence why there is only a handful of students if even that now attending. This past 5th semester had 1 graduate b/c there was only 1 student left in that class- well maybe not since he is listed on another schools e-mail list.
Billybill your truely a rare student, if you indeed are a student b/c all those student with the exception of a few were out for themselves ( not that its a bad thing) but when you intentionally lie to others so you get your grades that is bad. I strongly doubt you are a student b/c no student not even the infamous one would write such non-sense like you do.
Good luck to anyone that decides to go there- hindsight is 20/20 but some people just never learn hence why these schools even get students.

Shouldn't you be glad that people who are in clinicals/residency/practice post on the board?

When I hear these problems, it makes me appreciate the minor problems other Caribbean school's experience. Also, proper spelling does add legitimacy to a post. I have found a positive correlation between a post's language errors and number of grains of salt contained.
This post sounds like a screenplay for a Lifetime Movie. In addition to the school drama, the protagonist should also lose her child to the government and then a powerful attorney on vacation rescues her and her child marrying him at the end of the film.

Teratos:
I would be elated if any of our clinical students would add their comments to the board, but I honestly believe those posts are far and few between.
To anybody else who reads these posts:
you know, some of us MUA Belize students are actually NORMAL. Since I shaved my head one week and jumped out of an airplane the next, I'm not sure I qualify. But there are a few of us who can engage in lively debates without hurling personal insults, unfounded attacks, or forgetting our gradeschool grammar lessons.
I think the reason the normal people have stopped writing is because, God Forbid, should anything close to the truth be written, that person gets jumped on by 15 or 20 posts claiming s/he isn't a student, is getting paid to cheerlead FOR the school, is getting paid to cheerlead AGAINST the school, etc. After a certain point, the "why bother?" factor kicks in.

The Facts are:
Most people who slam these schools can be broken up into 2 catagories:
1) People from other schools
2) Students who had a bad experience
It nice to see students with bad experience posting. This way another perspective is presented.

everybody would have a bad experience at any medical school, who choses to party hard instead of studying hard, it's your choice, engage in drunken debauchery or hit the books!, unfortunately for some, boozeing and getting strung out was more important than attending lectures and doing there own work, vs, cheating etc. this is NOT aimed at one person or singling someone particular out, anyone can fall into the tourist trap of clubs, bars, girls, parties.

There is time to party: During the breaks, on the weekends etc. If one is missing his/her classes (at all. NO EXCUSE to miss a class, except sickness and family emergency) due to living it up to much. They should consider another field of study.
how do you both know who this person is? do you have an inside track to his/her login id?
how do you know his/her marks?
proof what you say...

I would like to know on what basis studyhard says that MUA B is one of the worse schools.
This can only be based on the following:
USMLE scores
Clinical placemments
Not liking a place is not a valid data point

Huh? Worse school can be a personal opinion which I thought was offered.
Now that you mentioned it, what are the real usmle scores and clinical placements of mua-b?
From recent past posts, MUA-B was having difficulties paying the clinical sites. Is that all solved now?

I try to refrain from writing but just can not help myself.
Billybill, and atlanta... Why are you going after me personally? Have i ever said anything about you without you asking me to? I could care less if you were the brightest students at MUAB, SGU, ROSS or where ever or even the worst students b/c in the end its your career- other thing is that i don't know you so for me to sit here and critique you would be shameful on my part. I have no personal issues with you.
As for MUA-B i can say a whole lot about the school in general b/c i know all to well how horrible it is. I know how bad and corrupt the administration is and how things are run there - rather then defend the school you guys keep going after me.
Since you brought it up atlanta let me answer it now:
Clinicals: MUAB DOES NOT require students to pass step 1 before going into clinicals therefore even if you had 1000 students in clinicals ( although i can say for a fact that you do not) it would not matter and that would mean nothing. It is more so a way for school to get money by sending students into clinicals right away rather then having them pass boards first b/c school knows all to well that there education is not adequate to begin with. Addtionally, the fact that school did not pay for clinicals even though they received funds for loans and decided it was their right to take the entire amount for 2 semesters b/c they can showed that they were corrupt and manipulative to begin with.
USMLE: In my oppinion there is i believe no more then MAYBE 10 students that have passed the step 1 since school has existed. I think the 10 might be stretching it anyhow. I know there was a certain professor that passed step 1 but given that he was a professor and a student he was fully capable of passing it without school education anyhow. Everyone, well i would name people if it were allowed the brightest if students from MUAB that still have yet to pass the boards and have failed miserably. So as far as i know there has been 1 student that passed the boards- correct me if i am wrong. I will say this much that even if the school had 100% pass rate which will never happen it is the students that pass step 1 not the school b/c no school can fully prepair the students it is their duty so in respect to the usmle question- it can still be an improper way to judge but if you want to then it still leaves MUAB to be one of the worse schools in the caribbean.
Yes of course i am waiting to here how i am failed x amount of times and how i am so bad that is why i got kicked out. How i partied, got drunk etc etc etc. but why don't you stick to answering questions rather then attacking me.
Good luck b/c really who ever you are i wish you nothing bad if your a student its not in my place to judge you i just hate that these schools take advantage of students the way they do.
