Hi ,
I graduated 7 years ago, and am just starting with biochemistry as well. I can study with you, it can give both of us a boost. I know there are live chats that can be done on the internet, or even chats. So let me know.... I think we can work this out. Email me at saad_as@hotmail.com

Lippincott is a great book for biochemitry starters, it offers very simplified explanations and some great pictures too.

Although, if you want to go a bit more advanced, you might also try reading Harper's biochemistry. Granted its a much harder read and you might not need it so much for the exam.. its a great book that provides A LOT of background info that could potentially be helpful.

I agree with the other posters about Lippincott's. Harpers is cool if you have a strong science background and can appreciate the indepth treatment given to some non-boards tested topics. I like the Marks text myself. It has great clinical correlations.
