hi merry x mas everybody, i am going to start step 1 , and thinking to start with biochemistry, i graduated 3 years ago, can anyone help to advice or share their experience of many weeks its needed to complete biochemistry while u working as sho same time.

I have got linpicott and kaplan biochemistry book, actually how u started did u go directly to the first chapter, or randomly .
do u have all qbank cos i need to have all biochemistry questions placed in chapter wise, any idea .

Lippincott is a great book for biochemitry starters, it offers very simplified explanations and some great pictures too.

Although, if you want to go a bit more advanced, you might also try reading Harper's biochemistry. Granted its a much harder read and you might not need it so much for the exam.. its a great book that provides A LOT of background info that could potentially be helpful.

I agree with the other posters about Lippincott's. Harpers is cool if you have a strong science background and can appreciate the indepth treatment given to some non-boards tested topics. I like the Marks text myself. It has great clinical correlations.
