If you are invited to participate in the scholars program, is it worth it? Basically, anyone out there who is in the program feel that it is beneficial to participate in it if offered to do so. Your feedback would be appreciated.

The "scholars" program is no more. They are created a new program in which everybody is invited to participate. Sure join "scholars" it is great you get more access to resources than other students and some questions from your quizzes will show up on the mini. They will also help you focus on what to study which will help a great deal for mini's. As well as private time with the Anatomy Profs in Anatomy lab.

they select scholars before 1st semester based on stats, after that you can apply to get in...i dont think tuition is any diff

The program is full of shit and everyone on the island knows except for the "scholars". The quizzes that only the scholars get are around campus so anyone can get their hands on those. A big minus about the program is that they students (majority) that are in it are so cocky and bitchy (like the old hag that sat next to me in class) most students dont like them. I can say that out of all the people that I have met there are most that arent in the program that deserved to be in it whle the ones that are in it shouldn't even be allowed to be in medical school(yes even the caribbeans).

does this new "pace/scholars" program apply to all semesters, or just to the new incoming january class? if it is open to everybody, do you know who we talk to about it? i will be second semester, and i think it would be very beneficial to have focused lab time with the anatomy profs!
