What are the cartilage derivatives (5) of the 4th and 6th branchial arches?
Thyroid - Cricoid - Arytenoids - Corniculate - Cuneiform
This is from First Aid ..Can someone pls explain how they can ask question abt this concept and the significance of each??

they may ask you one of those structures and then ask where is it derived from. they may also give u the structure and ask the innervation that goes with it.

The significance is that many patients will require endotracheal intubation and we as attending physicians must be able to identify these structures during the process. Additionally, these structures mark the beginning of the bronchial tree.
