Why are so many failing to keep a 3.0? This is like the 3rd semester that more than half the class will not make it to MED 1.:D

Is it Dr.L and his quest to become Dean?

Just curious, how are you certain that half of the class won't make it to Med 1? Have you spoken with the students? Taken a survey? Are all students who put in the necessary effort and time being able to maintain a 3.0?

I find it a bit strange, because I was on the island in May, and when I spoke to the students in the Med 1 class I sat in on were students who went through Pre-Med successfully. I don't remember hearing from them half the class not making it through. So, if this is about the third semester half the class hasn't made it...May would be one semester ago, thus being two semesters in a row of students not making it through.

Anyone currently in pre-med 2 able to verify WeatherMan's statement?

Just my two cents.

Hey are you sure more than half of pre med 2s are failing to keep a 3.0, because from what I heard premed isn't too bad and many people do really well. Theres somthing very fishy about your posts man. Why are you scaring the **** out of premeds do u even go to mua?

Sorry, it took me a while to respond. First, it was a simple question that's all. And the fact is that the current Med one class has only half the pre-meds that finished Pre-Med 2.

This question came up because I was looking for a pre-med 2 guy who owed me money from the summer. I came to find out from the current Med Ones who were Pre-Med Two's in the summer that half the class went to AUA's pre med program because they were not accepted into MUA Med one. I just wanted to know what’s the deal with the pre-med program that makes it so hard. I know form the pre-meds in my class that it is a good program. But, my question is why they are struggling. Currently from the grades posted on the pre-med class room more than half the class is failing AP2, and Chem. (This is a FACT please check for your self.)

Again, pre-med 2 please reply only.
