Hey guys,

I'm taking my step I in a week!!!!!! I'm pretty nervous, but burnt out as well. Just want to get this over with. I wanted to share some feedback about the Kaplan course I took in Chicago.
It was a 6 week intensive course which included 8 hours of lecture 6 days a week and room and board. I think it was too many hours and not enough time to study on your own. I ended up skipping class on most days (except when Goljan taught path which was completely worth it) and studying on my own. My advice: LISTEN TO THE VIDEOS SABA SHOWS US IN OUR KAPLAN COURSE. It is the same material, don't waste $4,500 like I did!! My scores have improved quite a bit on the NBME practice tests (225 right now, but need to go over first aid and finnish Q bank this final week), but I don't think it was because of the Kaplan course. The Q bank is a must and do all 4 NBME tests ($45 each, the give u a 3 digit score that is comparable to what u may get if u took the exam that day. +/- 10 SD)

well good luck to everyone!!! wish me luck, pray for me, anything positive will help... thanks

Gigi

Good luck Gigi!!! Go kick butt! :flag:
Thanks for the info and advice.

I'm going to do the Falcon review along with a few classmates. I am hoping that seeing the material once more from a different angle will help. Also, I hope the obligation to get my butt out of bed in the morning to study in Dallas will be helpful. I'll let this forum know how it goes and if Falcon is worth it.

Trying to pay attention to the Kaplan videos,
