I am about to take step1 and decided to take nbme3 to polish some things up, and it turns out to be a horrible experience. By question, 18 of the first block the exam frizzed (does not let me do anything, just a polite: Please Wait, in the corner. Eventually this gets, resolved and 45 minutes latter
I find myself working at a fast pace to make up for the time only to start my second block to the big news that my exam froze again:evil:. This time it took less time (by now I know the "drill" (be familiar with the tech support procedures just in case) but the inconvenience and frustration takes a toll. During the third block, the issue happened twice :comppunch::omg::frustrate, and for the last frozzing I did not even email because it was brief.
When you are dealing with life and struggling to study and you, pay for this exam the last thing one needs is to have this happening to you.
So today I started the exam at 10 am and finish at 6:25 pm. Just for the record, I planned to have finished the test by 2pm, and my break was reasonable.
I do not want my experience to be misinterpreted and the message to be distorted, just know this can happen and always plan for the worst.
I had a lower score than in NBME 1, and they actually were helpful with the situation.
My test is at the end of the month and I know I can do better than that score.
So can I base my knowledge base on the graph of this test?
Please I don’t want any smart answers or bad replies, and I cant change my test date.
So please I need your help, and suggestions
Have a nice day
