At this point, should I apply for Jan. or May 07?

I'm sending in my application in a couple of days and I was wondering if, at this point in time, would my chances of acceptance be better if I applied for the May '07 semester rather than the January '07 semester? I appreciate your help. Thanks.

well, apply to both...state jan 07 as first choice, and may as second. good luck.

Do what miasma said. They won't hold it against you for trying for the earlier semester.

Thanks for the reply guys. I guess I will put down January as my 1st choice then. I was just wondering if putting down May as my 1st choice might give me a better chance of getting in. But if it doesn't really matter, then I'll go with Jan as my 1st choice and May as my 2nd. Thanks for the help.

during the interview, they may ask you if you mind being part of may 07 class, so at that point you can let them know that you are indifferent to which class you get in to. A similar situation happened to me when i was applying back in 2004, I had marked sept 04 as my first choice...but i told that i didn't mind entering Jan 05, and when i got accepted, it was for Jan 05...so i'm guessing that sept 04 class may have already filled up...but once i got to the island...i was glad i was part of the Jan 05 class...:)
